Jaxson's first month

The first month just flew by! Computer hasn't been working correctly and there is no down time to get on to update this thing even if it were working, sorry! Jason has Jaxson in the basement watching the NBA finals this evening so I have some "me" time. ;)

So much went on this month hard to know where to start!

Jaxson met his great grandma, great grandpa was out of town but he should get a chance to meet him this weekend!

Jaxson also made his first visit to "the lake", which has been a family vacation spot for Jason's family for years. It was too hot for him to be outside much but we had a great time inside playing with his toys and visiting with Jason's parents, sister, brother-in-law, and our niece. I don't have any pictures of that yet, I will have to copy some! Jaxson started focusing on his toys on his bouncy seat and making excited sounds and kicking his feet, it was so awesome!!

I didn't bring our camera when we went to visit my parents either, horrible I know! But my sister is always taking pictures and copied them for me, thank you Ashley!

Little booger never takes naps but he wouldn't open his eyes for this picture no matter how hard we tried!

My parents had a bouncy seat with lights and he was so amazed, absolutely loves the lights! The toys on their bouncy seat are at the bottom by his feet rather than by his hands so it was something different from our bouncy seat. We took their's home with us! :)

Jaxson has also turned 1 month old since the last post! Here are a couple photos from that big day. :)

Jason and I "celebrated" our 4 year wedding anniversary last week. We tried to make it a nice evening. Jason brought home some beautiful flowers for me and we ordered take-out from a really nice restaurant. Picked up the food at 6, one of us ate our cold meal at 10 and the other at midnight, ha ha definitely didn't turn out as planned! ;)We also got our beagle spayed so no more rendevouz (is that how you spell that word? and how do you make it plural? :)) with the neighbor dogs. So funny, couldn't even tell she had major surgery, she was as wild as ever! The vet receptionist called my cell phone twice and my
mom's once within an hour to tell us she was ready to go home (think they were ready to get rid of her!!!)! She has so much energy but she is such a great dog!!!

Fun adventures planned for this month include a trip to Eudora to celebrate Camdyn's first birthday (can't wait!!!) and a special father's day celebration the following week! And Jason's got to work two weekends. :P

Oh, and Jaxson weighs over 11 pounds! Where is it, he doesn't look chubby?! (Just like his daddy!!! :) )
