Halloween Weekend 2010

Can't get more excited than this, lol! He was so pumped to carve pumpkins (for about 10 minutes and then he was off running around :) ).

Excuse Jason with his big knife, ha ha, just check out the cutie watching his crazy Daddy.

Here is our finished spooky jack-o-lantern. I drew a few choices for eyes, nose, and mouth and had Jaxson pick one. He went with a very traditional design, lol. :)

We had a great Halloween weekend. Another fun weekend with family! Jason's parents and his sister and her family came to spend the day with us. We went...................to the zoo!!!! Yes, we spend a lot of time at the zoo, but it never gets old or any less fun! We love to visit the zoo. It was fun having other children for Jaxson to share the experience with. We ended the day with Olive Garden, yum! Here are a few photos of our fun day. Jaxson's cousin, Evan, is walking and they interacted a little more with eachother than they have in the past. Jaxson did much better sharing his toys, NOTHING like the day daycare came to our house. :)

Jaxson and Madi checking out the penguins.

Kisses :)
Grizzly bears waiting for their food to be thrown down.

Snack time for the little monkeys.

Daddy (Uncle Jason) with all of the children.

Outside the tiger exhibit.

Jaxson and Evan, Jaxson is the chunky monkey if you aren't sure which is which, lol.

Hitchin a ride. :)

We didn't do much with Halloween festivities on Halloween day. Jason had to work because of inventory. Jaxson and I spent the day at my grandparents and my parents came up and met us there. We went out to my grandparent's farm and picked some pears. Jaxson LOVES his "fuit", sometimes it is "fruit"...in the morning he will whine for some "fuit" instead of cereal, muffins, etc. He had at least two whole pears kept eating on some while we picked and then finished one, including a stem and a seed or two (couldn't get it away from him while I was driving :( ). :) He had some major butt burn the next day! When we returned from our visit, we went to see the neighbors to the north and the south and then we went to bed. It was another great day and I'm sure the last year we make it to bed at the usual bed time. :) And the last year that my son will be "clueless" about candy. :)

Picking wildflowers with my mom.

Following my dad.

In "fuit" heaven, ha ha. Pears, Pears, Everywhere!

I hope everyone had a great weekend!
