So sad! Why does Santa get my cookies?
Jaxson settled for a bite of one (and brushing his teeth a second time!) before going to bed.
The minute Jaxson got up he yelled at us to pick him up out of his crib. Then he asked to be put down right away and he ran as fast as he could...not to the presents, he passed them without a glance...to see if his cookies were still there! Luckily Santa left some crumbs and he munched on them as he unwrapped his gifts. :)
Checking to see if there are more gifts under the tree.
His favorite gift happened to be a cheap little MagnaDoodle meant for 3 and older. He draws pictures of planes, trains, boats, and trucks every single day and brings it to show us and asks us to erase it so he can start all over again. Would have never guessed!
I thought this was just too cute!!! All of his zoo animals lined up to get a drink and some fish from the pond. I am so amazed by his little brain. These past two weeks he has made huge gains in communication. We are nearing an occasional sentence. He counts up to 10 objects, not always with accurate one to one correspondence sometimes past 5 he recounts objects he's already counted, but has the ability to rote count to 10. He is also getting more and more accurate with his color identification. He listens and processes everything we say and after a few minutes will begin talking about it. He amazes us and continues to be the best gift we could ever receive. :)

Little kids are so cute to watch on Christmas morning. So much to see and do. Madi still goes straight to the cookie plate to make sure Santa ate the goodies she left him!! Glad you guys are able to start your own traditions!
