What a great weekend!! So sad it is over but so many memories created! We finally decided to save CoCo Keys for another year, Jaxson is still just too unsure of water and we didn't want our weekend to turn into a stressful one for him or us. We spent lots of time at the hotel pool, though, and it didn't take him long at all to be okay with it (as long as his ears, eyes, and nose were not under water!). We went to the zoo and hiked many of the local national parks and landmarks. Most were only partially open due to the Missouri River flooding so we have plans to return there someday to check out these and Coco Keys. We also spent a lot of time walking the Old Market area, eating, drinking, sight seeing. There were so many cool things going on in the city this weekend...Sand in the City--16 tons of sand dumped in the middle of a big parking lot and different coorporations competed building sand sculptors and Taste of Omaha--yum! We also went to the Children's Museum, which was such a cool place! My neice, Madi, would have been in absolute dinosaur heaven there! On our way home we stopped at Wildlife Safari Park outside of Lincoln for another hike. It was fun, fun, fun!!!!!
